Berlin has a strong history of murals and street art. As a result, my course offers multiple walking tours through Berlin to do with street art. There is just too much for me to photograph, some are too intricate or large to photograph. Here are some of my favourite examples.

I walk past this eye every day. Apparently it’s a relatively new mural. Many of the Germans that work at my school had never seen it before. It’s in what used to be East Berlin, and with their spying history (the Stasi), I wonder how it makes them feel. Possibly a commentary on the Snowden leaks.

Part of a Street Art competition in the part of Berlin called Wedding. This wall is situated above a cementary, and although you can’t really see it, she is crying.

German Street Artists are smart asses.
