For thirty-odd minutes it was a close game: Miami didn’t jump off the starting block like a stabbed rat, the two teams scored tit for tat (for much of the game neither team managed to eek out a lead of more than 6 points), Kevin Durant spent much of the game in foul trouble, Harden struggled from everywhere but the free throw line, the Heat seemingly could not miss from the free throw line, and Dwayne Wade buzzed around like the energizer bunny.

However, in the third quarter the game totally changed; the Thunder somehow built up and then squandered a 10 point lead, The Heat went on a 17-3 run, and then managed to back it up by a 8-0 run in the fourth quarter, and then a few stupid fowls by Harden and Westbrook in the final two minutes sealed the deal.

The Heat win game three 91 – 85. They now lead the series 2-1, with two more home games coming up.
