One of the first interviews I did in my minor parties series was with William Bourke, President of the Stable Population Party. The party’s main goal is clearly set out in it’s name: for Australia to enact policies to achieve a stable population (of around 26 million), rather than the current emphasis on growth. I spoke with Bourke about Australia’s population, it’s impact, and the party’s policies:
